4. Competition entry is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
5. Prizes: There are 176 one-way ticket vouchers (valid for a period of 12 months in accordance with condition 11 of these Terms and Conditions) from any Australian capital city (with the exception of Perth) to Brisbane available to be won for this competition (each a Prize).
The Prize is not exchangeable or transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash. Any additional expenses incurred by the Prize winners, other than those outlined in these Terms and Conditions, are the responsibility of the Prize winners.
The Prize is subject to the specific terms and conditions of the Prize provider and the Prize winner will not be entitled to any monetary compensation (including any refund of the ticket price or otherwise) in connection with the Prize. Entrants acknowledge the risk of delay, postponement or cancellation of a flight is beyond the control of the Promoter.
The Prize must be redeemed by the Prize winner.
6.Competition period: This competition will open at 1am AEST 25 July 2022 and close at 11.50pm AEST on 15 August 2022. No entries will be accepted after this time.
7. How to enter: Entrants must fully complete and submit the online entry form found at: com.au/win
Only one entry per entrant will be accepted, and any subsequent entries from the same entrant will be deemed invalid.
8. Eligibility: To be eligible to enter this competition, a person must:
not be a resident of Queensland, identified by the postcode provided on the online entry form (and be able to provide proof of residency if required by the Promoter); and
not be an employee or contracted staff of the Promoter; and
must be at least 18 years of age.
9. Competition draw: The winners of the competition will be the first 176 (one hundred and seventy six) eligible entries randomly drawn by an officer of the Promoter at approximately midday AEST on 16 August 2022.
The decision of that officer shall be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
10. Winner notification: The winners will be notified via email, to the email address provided on the online entry form, by an officer of the Promoter by 5pm AEST by 19 August 2022.
11. Prize redemption: The Prize will be emailed to the winners by the Promoter when notified in accordance with condition 10 above.
The Prize winner must redeem the Prize in accordance with the specific terms and conditions of the Prize, noted by the Prize provider, between the 15th August 2022 and 15th August 2023 (the Prize Redemption Period).
If the Prize is not redeemed by the Prize winner during the Prize Redemption Period, the Prize winner forfeits the Prize and will not be entitled to any claim of the Prize.
12. No liability of Promoter: The Promoter accepts no responsibility whatsoever for late, misplaced, lost or ineligible entries. The Promoter makes no representations or warranties as to the quality, suitability or merchantability of the Prize. Despite any other provision of these Terms and Conditions, to the maximum extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not liable for:
any loss or damage whatsoever (including but not limited to direct loss, indirect loss, economic loss, special loss or consequential loss) which is suffered or incurred by an entrant (including without limitation any Prize winner); or
without limiting paragraph (a), any personal injury or death or loss of, or damage to, property in connection with the entry into the competition or acceptance of the Prize,
howsoever such liability arises and whether arising in tort (including without limitation in negligence), for breach of contract (including without limitation under any indemnity), under statute, in equity of otherwise.
13. To the extent all or any part of condition 12 is found to be contrary to the Australian Consumer Law, but the Australian Consumer Law otherwise permits the Promoter to limit the Promoter’s liability to the value of the Prize or the resupply of the Prize, then the liability of the Promoter is instead limited, at the Promoter’s election, to either:
the value of the Prize; or
the resupply of the Prize,
howsoever such liability arises and whether arising in tort (including without limitation in negligence), for breach of contract (including without limitation under any indemnity), under statute, in equity or otherwise.
14. Privacy consent: By entering this competition, the entrant acknowledges and consents to their personal information being collected and stored by the Promoter for the purpose of this competition.
15. Force Majeure: If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned (including due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter), which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition. The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify all entries from any individual who tampers with, or benefits from tampering with, the entry process which as a result corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the competition.
16. In the case of the intervention of any outside agent or event which naturally changes the result or prevents or hinders its determination, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strikes; the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the competition and recommence it from the start on the same Terms and Conditions.
17. Competition updates or cancellation: The Promoter reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time, including amending key dates and times in conditions 6, 9 and 10 of these Terms and Conditions, and to cancel or amend the competition at any time without notice or further recourse to the entrants.
