Terms of Entry (a) Competition entries can be made from 9.00am AEST on Friday 19 April 2019 until 5.00pm AEST on Friday 14 June 2019 through the Promoter’s Chemist Warehouse app, available from the iTunes app store or Play Store for use with android and iPhone or online via www.chemistwarehouse.com.au/maxigesic. Entries received outside the Competition period will not be eligible or accepted. (b) Entries that are incomplete, illegible or indecipherable will not be valid and will be deemed void. (c) Entry is conditional upon entrants downloading and logging in or logging in as a guest, to the Chemist Warehouse app for iPhone and android and fill in your name, Phone number, Email, How you heard about the promotion + tell us IN 25 WORDS OR LESS: How have you used Maxigesic to relieve your pain? Entrants can also enter online via www.chemistwarehouse.com.au/maxigesic. (d) The Promoter takes no responsibility for entries that are lost, stolen, illegible, misdirected or damaged however caused. (e) Submitting an entry constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions. (f) Only one entry per household will be accepted for the entire campaign duration. (g) Only one winning entry will be valid per household for the entire campaign duration. (h) Multiple entries regardless of draw date will be invalid. Who May Enter (a) The Competition is open to Australian permanent residents over 18 years of age. (b) The Competition is not open to: (i) Employees of the Promoter; (ii) Parties to whom the Promoter has contracted work in relation to this Competition;(iii) Parties who are otherwise directly involved with this Competition; and (iv) Any immediate family members or any of the abovementioned parties. Prize (a) Each week during the 8 week competition period, entrants will have the chance to win the major prize of one of 2 x $500 Chemist Warehouse gift cards to redeem IN STORE ONLY, and the minor prize of one of 50 x $50 Chemist Warehouse e-vouchers with Maxigesic to redeem ONLINE ONLY, to the total retail value of $3,500 per week (total of 52 weekly prizes). (b) Over the 8 week competition period there will be a total prize pool of 416 Chemist Warehouse gift cards awarded (16 x $500 gift cards and 400 x $50 e-vouchers) with an overall retail value of $28,000. (c) The prize awarded by the Promoter is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for any valuable consideration, in particular for money. Any attempt to sell the prize or attempt to exchange the prize for valuable consideration, will result in the cancellation of the prize. The Promoter has the sole and absolute discretion to decide such matters. (d) The $50 e-vouchers will be sent to the winners email address as an e-voucher and the $500 gift cards will be sent via registered post. Selecting the Winner (a) The Competition winners will be selected on the Friday of each week at 5pm and the winner notified by 5pm the following Monday, throughout the 8 week competition period. Any entries received after 5pm (from 5.01pm) on each Friday will roll into the next weeks draw. (b) Chance plays no part in determining winners. Winners will be selected and judged by internal Chemist Warehouse staff based on a “game of skill” approach with judges assessing entrants answers to the tell us 25 WORDS OR LESS: How have you used Maxigesic to relieve your pain? Entries will be judged based on articulation and conciseness when explaining their personal experience with Maxigesic. The winners will be selected at 44 Raglan Street, Preston VIC 3072 at midday each Friday over the competition period. (c) The Competition winners will be notified by SMS or email by 5.00pm each Monday. Whilst the Promoter will use its best endeavours to contact the winner within the abovementioned time, the decision not to award an entrant who cannot be contacted a prize is at the sole and absolute discretion of the Promoter, and can be made at any time after the Competition winner have been selected. (d) If within three months after the determination of the winner of the lottery, a prize (other than a prize consisting of perishable goods) has not been claimed by the winner, the promoter must take all reasonable steps to deliver the prize to the prize winner. At the conclusion of the three months if the prize cannot be delivered, the promoter must notify the Office and, subject to the Office’s approval, re-determine the winner of the prize in accordance with any directions by the Office (e) A person purporting to be a prize winner may be required to provide proof of identity and to verify any other eligibility requirements.
