Pleasant State (The ‘Promoter’)
What is the prize & terms?The 1 prize included is valued at $4000 est and contains the following:
1. Return flights for 2 to Maroochydore Airport from anywhere else in Australia provided in the form of airline gift voucher up to the value of $600 ($300 per person).
2. 2 Nights accommodation for 2 at L’auberge Apartments Noosa Heads in a 1 bed executive boutique apartment to the value of $460
3. A Car Hire Gift Voucher to the value of $150.
4. A Gift Voucher to Land And Sea Brewery to the value of $100.
5. 2 x 2 hr (one each) Surf Lesson from Noosa Learn to Surf to the value of $140.
6. 2 x Pleasant State ‘Multipurpose + Bath + Glass’ packs to the value of $132.
This competition is open to Australian residents only. Entries close 11:59pm aest Wednesday 30 September, 2020 and winners will be notified by 11.50pm aest Wednesday 14 October 2020 via email. Only entrants subscribed to Pleasant State’s mailing list at the time of competition close will be eligible to win. Prize is not transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash. All prizes will be gifted in voucher form and booking of flights, travel and classes etc. is the responsibility of the winner. Airport transfers from Maroochydore Airport and any subsequent travel throughout the trip is the responsibility of the winner. Pleasant State accepts no liability for any injuries or other experienced by the winner while undertaking activities or travel related to this competition and prize.
When can you enter the Competition?The Competition opens Wednesday 9th September 2020 and entries close at 11:59pm aest Wednesday 30 September, 2020.
What are the conditions of entry?To enter this Competition, you must:
a) Be an Australian Citizen.
b) Subscribe to the Pleasant State Mailing List and agree to receive Newsletters and Email Marketing Campaigns from us.
c) Provide Name, Email Address and Phone Number at the time of subscription.
d) Be subscribed to the Pleasant State Mailing List at the time of competition close.
NB. There is no charge to enter the Competition other than the usual Internet connection charges payable to your service provider and/or telephone company.
Further to meeting the above requirements, additional Entries can be earned by:
a) Visiting Pleasant State’s Crowdfunding Page
b) Purchasing any pre-order item or providing a donation to Pleasant State’s crowdfunding campaign.
c) For every $1 spent, entrants earn 1 additional entry.
All entry instructions form part of the terms and conditions. Incomplete or corrupt entries will not be accepted.
You are not eligible to enter if you are an employee, or partner or immediate family member of an employee of the Promoter or any third party company or agency directly connected with the creation or administration of this Competition.
When will the winners be chosen?The winner will be randomly selected using a digital barrel draw. The winner will be notified via email and via the Pleasant State website and Instagram (@pleasantstate) within 48hrs of the draw being completed. In the event that the winner is not able to be contacted, Pleasant State will continue to attempt to contact the winner over a 3mth period, at which point Pleasant State is not obligated or liable to re-draw another winner.
Valid Entries: The Promoter will attempt to notify the winners using the contact details provided at the time of the pledge. Should the Promoter be unable to contact any of the winners by 5PM Wednesday 20 January 2021, the Promoter reserves the right to forfeit the prize, repeat the selection process and choose a replacement winner.
The winner’s names will be available upon request by emailing hello@pleasantstate.com.
The Promoter is not liable for any damages that may occur while the prize pack is in transit, and is not liable for loss or damage of the package.
Prize will be sent via email and Australian Post through Express post.
How will my personal information be used?Any personal information you provide in the course of this Competition will be subject to these Terms & Conditions and to the Promoter’s Privacy policy. You agree that the Promoter will use the contact details you provided as part of your entry to contact you in the event you are selected as one of the winners.
You agree that we can use your name on social media as ‘the winner’ and off-line in all media and press releases about or reporting on the Competition, the Event or the Promoter.
By entering the Competition, you agree to your personal information being used for the purposes described in these Terms and Conditions, including the purposes of assessing your eligibility, administering the Competition, prize fulfilment, and for contacting you if you are selected as a winner.
Additional terms
By participating in the Competition you hereby warrant that all personal information submitted by you is true, current and complete and that the e-mail address you submit is accurate and valid.
Any entry made or attempted to be made in a manner which in the Promoter’s reasonable opinion is contrary to the spirit of these Terms and Conditions or by its nature is unfair to other entrants will be invalid and may result in your disqualification from the Competition. Examples of entries or behaviour which are not allowed include fraudulent entries, bulk entries, automated entries, cheating, hacking or deception.
The Promoter reserves the right to cancel the Competition or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice in circumstances beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control where the Promoter reasonably considers such cancellation or amendment is unavoidable.
The winner acknowledges that all intellectual property rights belonging to the Promoter, such as but not limited to the Imbibe Living logos, as well as the intellectual property rights of its partners and sponsors and any audiovisual material produced containing images of the Competition winners are and shall remain the Promoter’s sole and exclusive property or its partners or sponsors.
The winner acknowledges that they are responsible for the organising and booking of all trip related travel, classes and other. The prize will be gifted in voucher form and it is the responsibility of the winner to book appointments and tickets with participating vendors within the available voucher validity period. Any loss due to the winner’s delay in booking is not the responsibility of the Promoter.
The Promoter cannot accept responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission or mail delivery, communications line failure, theft, destruction, corruption, alteration of, or unauthorised access to entries, or entries lost or delayed whether or not arising during operation or transmission as a result of server functions, virus, bugs or other causes outside its control.
The Promoter shall not have any liability and does not accept any responsibility for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by any participant in this Competition or resulting from the Prizes.
The winner acknowledges that the promoter will not be liable should any injury or other arise from entering, winning or partaking in the prize of this competition directly or indirectly.
In the event of any dispute, whether such dispute concerns the conduct or eligibility of participants, results or any and all other matters relating to the Competition, the decision of the Promoter shall be final and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into.
